| It is becoming increasingly common for Christians who
want to embrace evolution to accuse atheists like Dawkins of hijacking
Darwin for their own ends. Such people like to portray Darwin as a honest
man who was confused by his daughter’s suffering. At the end of 2009, which
was Darwin's double anniversary year, a Creation Research Evidence News
email update featured a collection of statements by Darwin and his friend
Charles Lyell, which highlighted their joint objective of undermining Christianity
in Britain. This is such an important summary of Darwin's views that we

| Many people will know Sylvia Baker as the author of her
book "Bone of Contention". Sylvia is now working with a research team at
York St. John University and they have just launched a survey to which
they hope many churches across Britain will respond. It is called "The
Bible, Creation and You" and at Creation Research UK we are encouraging
