Sylvia Baker’s Bone of Contention has been a best selling booklet for over 30 years. Thousands of copies have been given away to those who think that the evidence against Biblical creation is solid. When the third edition was published, it was at a price which restricted most people’s ability to give multiple copies away. Recently, Creation Research obtained just over 2,000 copies and we were able to sell many of them at discount prices during John Mackay’s 2011 visit to the UK. First published as a series of articles in Evangelical Times in 1976, Bone of Contention has been in almost continuous publication since then and has been translated into many languages. Many people have found it a very helpful introduction to origins issues. Editions one and two together sold more than 250,000 copies, being popular in Australia and the USA as well as here in the UK. The third edition was published by the Biblical Creation Society in 2002.
